Unboxing the Miniature Building Authority's Farmstead.....

To All,

A box arrived from the Miniature Building Authority:

I'm hoping it's the Farmstead, and it is! The 25mm Farmstead and the Roadside Inn are going to be the two main terrain pieces for the Gnome Wars zombie game on Saturday night at the HMGS convention Fall In.

Let's get the popcorn out of the way......

....and open the box. The first layer has a gate, some walls and black pieces I assume are the 2nd floors for a couple of the buildings.

The next layer has two small buildings. the top of a larger building sticking through the Styrofoam, and three roof sections.

The last layer exposes two of the bigger buildings and the remainder of the roof sections.

Here are the sections out of the box. I'll put it together and post the pictures.

More to come....

The Miniature Building Authority  sells reasonably priced pre-painted resin buildings.
They are ready to play right out of the box so I don't have to waste my hobby time painting buildings. The interiors are accessible. The roof is removable and in most cases even a floor can be removed to get to the bottom level. MBA has terrific products. Click on the link to check them out.

Back from hiatus......

......and prepping for Fall In.

To All,

The blog has gone dark for some time but I am back to painting and working on the next revision/version of Gnome Wars.

I wanted to share with you that I am painting a unit of Russians for the Toys for Tots auction. I will post pictures as I make progress on the unit.
